hopefully before I forget I'm just gonna do that and it's Hank joining us as well and we do the recording and there is a reminder okay so again maybe later okay so if no one wants to start us off you guys if anything comes up at any point just interrupt me Dino you could maybe stay on mute and just direct the conversation as much as it was absolutely perfect in every possible way that Bob had a structured spiel not quite there yet maybe in another 25 years or maybe never so I would like that to be just directed for where where it actually where it's needed so I had my my my Mandala painting group today and I got a suggestion the ladies sometimes join via zoom sometimes they just watch facebook they you know not everyone feel comfortable having the camera gazing and and and knowing that there may be a few hundred people watching them later so I often get inspirations and feedbacks plus I had a couple of conversations this morning with two people and also get some inspirations so we may start from the idea which I was suggested to explore things being unaltered unmodified uncorrected how does it sit when and the daily life starts when the hits the fun when you get the medical diagnosis that is disturbing or one of your close ones fall sick or rejects you don't know any less guys if vimos how how is that pointer applicable so first of all it is not here so anyone who wants to have any sort of advantage taken from non duality like what is Enid for me is gonna get let down and disappointed there is nothing in it for me so how do I apply particular pointer well I don't because there isn't really anybody there to apply anything whatsoever.
And yet, of course, you know, we all went to school. We all learned language. We all did our homeworks. We all paid our taxes because we were told we are obeying parents, governments. Everything. Is Dino, I heard you for a minute. You have to unmute again. Sorry, that was just a mistake. That's a pity. So maybe you want to actually have a chat with me about this. You know, I'll order unmodified, uncorrected. Catherine suggested that we could actually just bring a specific applications in life where that leaving things as they are doesn't mean not going to the toilet ever again, which is completely impossible or not breathing, which again is completely impossible, but it still is recognizing that on the deepest level.
Things are left unaltered, even whether I'm doing or I'm not doing it. And also seeing how non doing is always the case. Well, I've always got a hand up. So you think you're going to get out of it so quickly and so swiftly. OK, even say what I say. I say, yeah. Yeah, it's very nice that you brought this up because when the shit hits the fan and I'm just at the moment and the girlfriend I often told about her was suicidal and we had a big struggle and once you told me your cat from. Yeah, there will come a time that you cannot stand it anymore.
Her difficulties and her complaining and her. And I reached that point and I gave my boundaries and yeah, no, no, she's very upset. And yeah. And I cannot do anything about it because I, I cannot do it anymore. It's I've reached my limits. So maybe that is a start startup for the conversation from how how do you go with that and how do you live with that and it's not easy, but it's it's just happening and it is fresh every time and. Yeah. You cannot go to the left. You cannot go to the right. But you have to go through and I'm just coping with it and.
Yeah. It's nice that you brought this point up because that's happening at this moment. And she is very upset and I know our condition and and I have to choose for myself because. Yeah. She's not reasonable, reasonable, reasonable anymore. In her lowest point, I have often had the same point in the in the past where we reached this point and then she she's another person and. Yeah, I cannot cope with this anymore, with this black side of her. Mm hmm. I've reached my limits and and I'm I have a very large limit. But there is a point where I said, no, I don't want this anymore.
And and now she's very upset and I know her condition and I know how happy she is. And but yeah. Mm hmm. Perfect. Look, this is really. Yeah, it's perfect. I mean, you know, who knows? In Al-Anon, they say don't cause the crisis. But don't prevent one if you are really not the doer and you really discover yourself in a position where you can't just your patience is gone. Well, that's it. You neither guilty nor at fault and neither is she guilty or at fault. This is just what you discover. This is just you discover is already present. This is the situation. You're. Your reservoir of energy is exhausted and, you know, people have different level of patience.
I had friends over over the years who went through depression, two particular friends that I was nursing when everybody else was gone. They couldn't put up with the shit anymore. Darkness, negativity, darkness, negativity. One was processing trauma, took her 12 months. But I had to hear the same story about men being bastards because she was engaged to a. Guy who at the same time made pregnant another guy, another girl. And, you know, it was a trauma. It was absolutely shattering for her. They had already, you know, the wedding date and all that stuff. So three times a day for 12 months, everybody else run for their lives.
They said, no, I just don't have enough energy to spend for, you know, like being a sounding board for that is never going to end. It's not. And. And well, I happen to have the energy. And after 12 months was gone, evaporated and it was going on for 20 years. I know for 20 years and this is a cycle. And look, her other best friend, who is my girlfriend, also very, very close with some wheelchair. She was putting up with that for four months and couldn't take any longer. And someone else can put up with something for 50 years if they are your children or someone close and no longer.
There is no competition there. I am not better than her friend, Joanna, because I put it up with that longer. And I am not worse with someone who put up like you for 20 years. There is no competition in how much you can strain the patients. We are discovering the autopilot machinery. Particular machinery, machinery, you know, like particular car, let's say Corvette can go 200 kilometers per hour and burn through 30 liters of fuel. Another car will go 40 per hour or tank or whatever. Every machine is different. And this is an opportunity to see your mind, to see how it functions. There is no good or bad.
She is innocent. In fact, there is no one there. You are innocent. In fact, there is no one there. We can have a story. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Wow. You are a hero. 20 years. You're not even 20 year old, Yvonne. Come on. Thank you. But see, the thing is, you are discovering what is already here. With absolutely everything in life. You are not the doer. You're not achieving. You're not becoming. You are discovering what is here. Patience is here. Oh, patience is not here. Boundaries are coming up. It is just ever present. Only this moment now. And in this moment now. I can't put up with that shit anymore.
It doesn't mean there is a mini me who is exhausted. No, it just means the energy expresses itself through enough. I'm gone. I'm out of here. And the energy then expresses itself. Oh, shit. Maybe I'm a bad person. And then the energy expresses itself with the justifying story. Yes, but I was sacrificing how much I could do in life if I invested that energy and then the energy expresses itself as five other stories and ten thousand other things. This is the same one energy behind it. And it doesn't matter whether the energy shows up a storm or as loving kindness or as a lack of patience or as boundary or as, oh, my mind doesn't go to it anymore.
Oh, my mind is better than yours because my mind is proud of not going there anymore. It doesn't. It isn't about that. It isn't about that. Non dual investigation is about. Just being space like awareness and in that space, like awareness, being curious and open to discover what's happening. Oh. Shit hit the fan. Oh, the response of this body is this. Oh. The there is a disliking towards this response or there is a justification of this response. And all of that is appearing on the screen of awareness. And as it is discovered, it's already discovered as it is unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. And then the idea comes, oh, I can modify it or I can do better or I can justify.
That idea is just another way the energy is expressing itself also just as it is. But the moment I believe, oh, this is me, I'm going to contrive myself and put up with this a little longer. Oh, no, I'm going to put my foot down and bang the the the door. And I had enough. The moment the energy of belief comes in and says, I'm going to do it, I'm not going to do it now, I'm going to draw the line now, I'm going to put the boundary now. I'm right. That's where the suffering starts. That's where the idea of having control, modifying, altering, correcting idea of this is the right thing to do.
This is the reasonable thing to do. This is why I'm doing because this is logical. See the subtle way the identity establishes itself. I'm doing it because this is right. I'm doing it because this is logical. I'm doing it because I'm exhausted. I'm doing it because the truth is, you're not doing it. You're not you're discovering, aha, this is the response in this moment. And this is where the freedom is. The moment the mind sneak in back door and start identifying as that justifying story. I'm doing it because of that and that and that. The doership sneaks in. Dino, you want to comment? Well, no, I think you covered it really well.
But you really did. And and, you know, like like you started by like like. If you're expecting a non dual pointer to help you live a better life, forget it, like start with that disclaimer from the beginning, you know, because it's not it's not it's not that they're designed to go beyond the idea of any idea that there's a me autonomous and with a free will and choice to to do this in time and space, it's already doesn't include that. So so but but the point that like leave it as it is unmodified, uncorrect. It's really it's really good luck. Another way of saying it like what I mean.
You really you have expressed it really well, is it in a way there is no one that can not leave it as it is unmodified, uncorrected because there is actually no one. So try and modify it, correct it and not leave it as it is. How could you do that? Because because what is is what is. And that is undeniable. And everyone can without a doubt, like know that that what is is is is exactly what it is and and and a million comments about what it is and how it is and why it's wrong and right are still the comments included in what is.
And yet but none of them can describe what is because what is is is indescribable. It's just this appearing and described with an infinite amount of words and words and descriptions. And yet the description is not the described. And what is can't be really described, but it can be forever described. But it can never be accurately described because it's beyond description. And it's the same with leave it as it is. So so if on the actions and non actions and movements and none is actually leaving it as it is and as it is, is the movement to say no is as it is, is the movement to do this.
Or to do that. This this makes no practical sense to someone who wants a skill to improve their personal development or improve their daily living or function or navigate better in the world as of me with better social connections and better friendship groups and more, more, more likeability and more success or whatever. It's useless. It's hopeless. It's hopeless. It's counterproductive. In fact, this message. If it's applied in that way to me, is going to send you into a depression or psychosis because because you can't look, you know, you go to the bank teller. My name's not really Dean. I'm not that identity and I don't really have that money in the bank.
What are you going to do? You're going to be it's madness. There is it's not. However, like the beauty of this message, it's not it's not complicated. It's actually not something to figure out or to. To try and understand, it's it's absolutely natural. It's absolutely it's freedom from all ideas that it should be, could be, would be and might be and as an acceptance of of whatever it is, even if there's movement to not want to accept it, not wanting to accept the movement of not wanting to accept it is an expression of of as it is. So, yeah, I. That's my little bit on it.
I think it's a good pointer and I liked Yvonne and I like Kat's expression is meticulous as always. And and what? Thank you. That was, yeah, beautiful. And I love the passion, too. And what do you say, Yvonne? Also, you know, sitting now with the discomfort. Oh, I disappointed someone, you know, sitting in the machine is wired to be likeable because if you are not likeable, then you may be excluded from the tribe and eaten by the wolves and bears and and tigers. So you do want to be pleasing because if people like you and approve of you, your chances of survival are larger, you know, you you will have more help.
And now suddenly you turn your back at someone and it feels that the healthy socialization will make would bring up the sense of guilt and the sense. Of self doubt. And now taking the label of that feeling and being present with the raw energy, leaving it unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected, because I'm totally, you know, I'm totally with you on that. And I was also sharing with the girls and having a couple of chats of my life long stories of friendships and including with those two girlfriends with the depression when no one else. Could put up with that shit and I couldn't leave them. I couldn't because I was feeling rejection so badly that rejecting someone would just break my heart.
I couldn't do it to someone else. Yeah. And I had the same. But now I had something like, okay, I don't like rejection because that's a pain point for me, too, but I had to do it. So life told me. You have to. You have to reject someone because otherwise you will not. Yeah. Don't justify. Don't justify because that's the thing. You have to do it. That's the trap. Yvonne, you don't do it. It happened. Yeah. I mean that. Yeah, I know you mean that. But see how justification suddenly becomes a drop. Yes. And because I am the only one who can get her out of the dark when she is very.
Yeah. She is very heavy. I'm the only one. She says you are the only one, the only one who can save me at that moment. And and still I had to do it. I'm not I, but it happens. Oh, yeah. I heard that song in my life often, too. Yes. You know, you have so many friends. I have no one. I have only you. The truth is, is the life essence that gives life, that brings people and moves people away is the life essence. There is no you and I. There is no. And guilt, guilt trips are just a subtle way. This particular body mind machine of that person is doing its best to survive, including the guilt trips, manipulations and other things.
She's not the doer either. There's no one there. It's just a strategy. This particular body mind machine is employed to survive. And it was successful for 20 years, as you say. Yeah. And now she is texting my partner about this, but he's at work, so he can't reply. And he told me that she now is texting him because, yeah, she's hopeless. Yeah. And yeah. So. Yeah. Just breathe. Just breathe. You know, because it is, of course, it is, you know, like as much. As you know, having an energetic connection with the other person for such a long time, you know, there is a frequency within your body that is the same as hers.
You will feel her pain. You will you know, there will be a sense of loss and grief and this population in the system and all those things. But if you don't label them, but you are completely present to the unfolding, who knows life can move you again to reengage with her or life can move you to put the stronger boundary or life will move you. Whatever is going to happen, that will be the movement of life. You don't need to have justifying story. I'm doing it because of that, because you are not doing it. No, but if the justifying story arises, OK, that's just how the energy expresses itself also as the justifying story, but you understand that it is just another appearance on the screen of awareness.
I'm doing it because I need to protect myself because she's ruining my life, because she's stepping into my relationship, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You understand that this even that is the machine preserving its own sense of coherence. It is the autopilot also making sense of things because that's how the language model functions. It needs to have the map of reality. It needs to have, you know, it's a meaning making machine. So it wants to have everything work. It needs to have everything worked up. Worked out and watching the tendency itself and being present to that. Also remembering that this is all spontaneous unfolding.
I'm not doing anything right. I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm not doing anything. Full stop. There is no me. There is just energy expressing itself through the survival strategies that created the personality called. The. Which is not who you are. You are not your programs. You are not your behaviors. You are prior to that. This is, of course, this is your car. This is this is what you drive or this is your musical instrument. This is through which you sing. Yes. But you are prior to that. You are prior to the to the instrument. You are the consciousness filtered through that particular programs, appearing as this particular set of values, sensitivities, vulnerabilities, guilt trips, loving care, patience, which runs out and everything, everything included, but you are.
Prior to that. And remembering that being present to whatever arises and it isn't it may it may you may need to brace yourself and just use that. As an incredible opportunity to explore your own mind, because it might be a little bit fragile. The sense of loss of any kind and look, there is no guarantee. That she's not going to act out on her threats and jump off the window, no guarantee. No. And even if that is to happen, even that is none of your responsibility or your. Business is the life essence. Returning home, there's nothing wrong in dying. But maybe that's not going to happen, and of course we wish and sometimes, you know, this is again what 12 step programs are urging to do.
Stop believing that you are responsible and manipulating your addict partner, whether it is a depression, addiction or it is alcohol. Addiction is a drug addiction or is a codependency. Whatever the pattern is there. Stop trying to manipulate it, control it. Stop perceiving it as broken and try to fix it. This is none of your business. Your business is this. And even that the only business you have with that is to register because you are space, not the doer. So they say don't prevent the conflict, don't cause the conflict, don't prevent. Don't do it. If the alcoholic wants to spiral down to the bottom, the chances are it will find the ground and kick back, the chances are they will not.
And so be it. There is no future. You discovering moment to moment. Nobody. There is no guarantees of how the story is going to unfold from now on. Your job is to be present to the unfolding and to be present to your own responses. It's quite incredible. It's also I was advised by someone who used to practice hypnotherapy. Okay, we'll stop with the anonymity. Dean has advised me when I was processing clothes to type, to do the diary, to do the journaling, to type a letter to a person. Goodbye letter. Type it 100 times. Delete it. Type it again. Never send. But see how your mind is processing.
Have it even have it thrown out on the paper, you know, or even do it. Byron Katie's work or whatever. Just use the opportunity to watch your mind, to see how it functions. Incredibly revealing, incredibly enjoyable, incredibly clearing and healing. You can seriously be in a state of getting on with sadness and grief and fear and worry and all of it. From that space. Like a sky like awareness, which is absolutely mesmerized and in all of the intensity of the process, curious and fascinated. You may even burst in tears occasionally and be again fascinated and mesmerized like, wow, this is so juicy. I'm loving it.
I'm loving it. I'm loving it. I'm loving it. I'm loving it. I'm loving it. I'm loving the pain, loving the sadness, welcoming all of it. Because being that curious, open space and being exposed to that sense of to that mystery, to your own response, to a fear of loss, to the fear and it used to be my greatest fear. Rejection. So if I don't want to be rejected, I don't serve rejection. Every time someone felt rejected, even if I did absolutely nothing to cause it. It literally drove night through my heart. When I was identified, I felt guilty and this was a terrible thing. Today, it doesn't.
Today, of course, someone's pain still touches deeply because again, I was brought up in a family. Where everyone was animals lover and compassion was the mind main value. We would always look after anyone and everyone. We would have door open and it was just the conditioning. So naturally, someone else's pain does is mirrored here. But at the same time, there is a sense of all. And beauty. And privilege to be able to feel deeply, to experience, to be part of that other dream unfolding. And as we all know, there is no experiencing and no expression. If it doesn't express dualistically, they have to be pain and pleasure.
If there if one was missing, the other would be out as well. They have to be both. So there is a time for grief now. Okay. Welcome. And now there is a time from a relief of the grief. Oh, welcome. Fascinating adventure. And what an opportunity. Let us know how you're doing, because it won't. You know, like it might take some, especially if that was a long sort of friendship. You know, there is. Yeah, you'll see. You'll see. You'll see. There will be a whole rainbow. There will be a whole rainbow of intense emotions and sensations and mental imagery. Be as curious as it can get and watch out how the mind is.
Try to process it. Put the blame somewhere else to keep the coherence to preserve. I am right. I'm okay. I haven't done anything wrong. I couldn't do any other ways and all the justification just to preserve coherence. Just to preserve the illusion of control. And include that in the field of curiosity. Oh, wow. Okay. That's interesting. Okay. Yeah. Go on, Dino. Really, really, really well expressed there, Kat. And I think it also showcases this non duality. You know, it's include it's incredibly inclusive of all aspects of the human experience. It's not to be taken as by a human integrated conceptualized into some sort of nihilistic state of now.
I'm not doing anything now. I'm not moving now. I don't feel now. I don't I mean, it can be taken that way, but it's not really designed like I think part of your explanation is really showcasing that. But that feelings like deep emotions, relationships, interrelationships, all these things and the tragedies that can go with it and the dramas and the real unpleasant stuff and very difficult stuff and very heartfelt things that occur in this life. The experiencing of them is still the experiencing of them as part of this. It is part and inclusive as it's the dream expressing as heartache. It's the dream expressing as loss or difficulty or abandonment or whatever.
Whatever it may be. And I don't know, I just, you know, in the non dual circles, sometimes you see people become like desensitized because they've taken on some of this non dual message, it's been conceptualized. And all of a sudden the seeming personality becomes non dual, a non dual personality whereby I shall not feel or I shall not this or feelings are bad or I can now just watch them and let them go. And it's not that's not what we're talking about here. And and your description really, really showcased the richness of the human experience and and every aspect of it is is completely and totally inclusive.
And I think that's all for me. Yeah, thank you. And I see a couple of new names here on the screen with us. Welcome. Hope you're going to feel free to join the discussion or to just listen or to ask questions in the chat box or anything that feels comfortable. And the answers, beautiful response to Yvonne Kat. And I thought for a minute that I saw Stephen had the hand up. Did I imagine it, Stephen? Or can I invite you to just put the hand up? It's all right. I just have time to think of it. Listen to what everybody was saying. And and Dean's thing from the non duality about not it's not about becoming a better person because there is no person and it made me think about, you know, I come from the sort of Buddhist background a bit.
And there's this idea about there is nobody there at all. But like you say, you wouldn't go to the bank and say, well, I'm not this person. And so we have this the conventional world. And in the conventional world, we want to we want our relationships to go. Most people will want their relationships to go well with other people. You know, so there's this idea that there's there's like a conventional self, but there isn't really, you know, and. Anyway, I'm just this thing about. Leave it unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. So and all the usual disclaimers, you know, saying I should talk about or anything, but something that is an interesting one.
Years ago, what used to bother me because you get you conditioned by various religions, you're supposed to be a good person, not a bad person, you know. So I used to wake up in the morning and think, oh, dear, not another day. You know, they're making too much noise and the thing was terrible person. All that. And what would happen? The mind would get involved in trying to fix it all. So one of the beauties of leaving it unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected, even from that conventional point of view. This morning, the alarm went off, painful feeling in the head, legs swing out the bed, hit the floor, the mind go, I say the mind goes, I thought appears.
Oh, God, not again. You know, the hand. Here we go. And it's. Years ago, that would have been, you know, terrible and it's awful. And yet whether it's knowledge of the body and mind or whatever, I don't know. But, you know, it's not going to last. And the best thing to do is not get involved in it. So leave it unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected from a conventional point of view. It still works, you know. And but also I can see these things. I can see the mind saying, how can you alter anything? Because it's gone. I mean, I can't sort of go back to that thought and say I should not have had that thought, the thought appeared, I didn't sit there thinking, oh, in a moment, as my legs hit the floor, I'm going to think this terrible thought.
Oh, dear, not again. You know. So it's all conditioning, isn't it, really? And the best thing, the best thing, not by a self, because there's no I fully accept there's nobody there. There's no space like awareness. So that's the other thing about leave it unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. If that's happening, there's less tendency to go chucking into the mind and trying to sort everything out, you could say, well, take me glasses off. I'm not doing that. Somebody is doing it or something's doing so. Sit back. And it is all right. But then this then we go back into the conventional thinking, oh, now I got it.
You know, I'm sort of I'm getting the hang of this, you know, a me. So. So so that's I always find that that's a very good pointer. So you think you're progressing because you're not doing that sort of thing anymore, what's really happening in the mind, the body mechanisms, realising. Seemingly that. Certain things didn't work in the past and we all want to go to more. I'm sure most beings would want to go to more and more pleasure and avoid pain. I mean, who wouldn't? And so anyway, but the other thing. It prompted me, I had some texts, I'm looking after an old friend of mine who's developing dementia, so we had a few months ago, we have the chap dying.
That's still being processed. Now we got this must happen to most people. As we get older, we got all our friends slipping off the dish, you know. And anyway, she's got his dementia and I was around her house yesterday because we got a cleaner and we've had problems because she kept giving the cleaner the wrong money, so the discussion was we're going to stick it all in an envelope. The right amount. So I've been back to her a couple of times before the cleaners arrived and noticed that she's opened the envelope, put more money in, stuck it in her bag and all that sort of thing.
So I thought yesterday I went, I was right. I got the I took the envelope to get out of her bag, put it on the table, wrote the cleaners name on this thing, left it out. Nothing can go wrong. You know, so I got a text this morning from somebody saying, oh, when the cleaner went home, there was double the money in there. So my best laid plans, the modifications and anything didn't work. Now, am I going to sit back and go, oh, leave it unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected? No, I'm not. And I can say conventionally there is a me here who's going to sort it out.
Just like I would go to the bank and say, I'm Stephen. This is me. There's my car. I've got a national insurance number. We all know what that means, don't we? So I think it is quite useful to talk about conventional worlds. And and and yet there's nobody here, you know. And the good thing about there being nobody here is nobody's fault. That's one of the wonderful things about it. Anyway, so I'm not going to leave. I am going to leave unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected because it's gone. There can't be anything to be done about it. But we, me and the other people have agreed that this time the letter, the envelope is going to be sealed.
That was my mistake. That was my big mistake. I didn't seal the letter. Of course, it wasn't my it wasn't me because there's nobody there. But that's the plan. We'll see what happens. Anyway, I just hope that. Yes, my take on it. Mm hmm. Yeah. Brilliant. And perfectly right. Absolutely. You know, within the dream, things are done. Deeds are done. The dream character is moving about, is breathing, is beating the heart. And yet it all happens within the consciousness that is registering it and doing nothing as the dream character is yapping, as the dream character is fixing, altering, modifying, changing, correcting. The registering capacity is leaving us as it is, is already having it as it is.
Correcting is happening. Leave the correcting. Unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. Fixing, modifying is happening. Leave the fixing, modifying, unfixed, unmodified, uncorrected. If that is what is happening, well, leave it as it is. Let it be happening. It doesn't mean, yes, exactly as you said, that you can't leave the phone box. You're going to die there. You're not going to get off the sofa. Of course you will. Life is going to move you. And yes, there are two different paradigms. There is the ultimate paradigm. That's that Chittananda, the reality of the consciousness being awareness of being and the bliss of being. And there is an illusion. There is a dream.
There is the Nama Rupa name and form. I am a person. I am this car. I am this costume. I am this mask. Therefore, I have to go to work. I have to pay my taxes. That says the dream character, the dream character is speaking. So it appears. So it seems just like the dream character on the movie that you are watching is speaking. But there is no one there. The film might have been recorded in 1940. They all dead now. And yet you're watching it and they're speaking. We used to like Bob and I watched the old movies, black and white movies, and beautiful young women, they're all dead.
That's pretty sweet when you actually realize that, you know. And I think you highlighted that, Steven, as well. Dean was pointing out, how can you change a moment ago? It's gone. It's dead. It's not there even to change it. Even the idea of altering the past is ridiculous. It's just too funny to laugh. It's too late. And with everything as the freshness and newness of each moment reveals itself in consciousness, it's already too late to do anything about it. OK, so the dream character says, OK, I'll take care of the future. And the dream character is the mind. Which is the future, which is the past projected to the future, which is the language model, which also, as you said, updates itself, learns.
It's a learning model, it's a model that is constantly upgrading, you know, whatever it learns, and I think we've we've chatted about it before, even looking at the natural world, the world of the animals who do not develop self-centeredness, the idea of having a mini little doggy here or mini cat here that is running a show. They don't have this type of a delusion. And yet their their body, mind, self-preservation, instincts and coping strategies and survival strategies can change like this. For example, if the cat gets kicked out or or mistreated or or the dog changes the owner, the upgrade or the update of the calculator of the processor is automatic and also reversing or healing is automatic and it takes whatever it takes according to the environment that is constantly changing.
So this is in constant flux. The the mind, the influences, the way it makes sense, interprets and responds to it, the way it constantly. Accumulates data and start responding according to to the constant learning that never stops, leave it unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. You know why? Because there's no other choice. That's why sometimes and I love the way Bob puts the pointer. Relax, leave it as it is. As if there was a you who could just just stop trying. Just just give yourself a break. Just so loving. So compassionate. And at the same time, I like to twist those pointers a little bit more and remind people that you don't even have a choice into relaxing or leaving it because there is no you who could do it.
So instead of leave it as this, recognize that it is already as it is instead of unaltering, unmodifying, uncorrecting it. Recognize that it is already unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected. There is nothing that can be done because there is no one who could possibly do it. It's just a constant discovery of the freshness and newness of each moment as it shows up unaltered, unmodified, uncorrected as it is. If the correcting is part of the way the moment is unfolding. Wonderful. Leave it as it is. Correcting is uncorrected. Correcting the dream character going to the bank teller or dream character dealing with loss or dream character making an error, which is really just another way the processor has calculated the chances of of of success in particular action, particular outcome, the computer calculated the highest is this.
Put the money in the envelope. It didn't have a capacity at this point to predict the situation because there was no data. So you haven't really made a mistake. The computer always calculates the best outcome. And now it learned, ah, there is another factor. The ceiling of the envelope that could be included. Wow. Okay. So there is another factor. Now the computer is going to be calculating the outcome, including that particular factor. And it will be also an altered and modified and corrected because that particular computer with those life experiences, this past conditioning and everything that happened and the environment changing and the processing power, because, you know, the IQ, it differs also from the machine to machine.
It will come with the outcome moment to moment that is most successful for the survival. Why? Because of the basic principle of being, knowing, loving to be. It loves to be every animal, bird, insect, bacteria, every human, every situation is inherently equipped with that self-preservation algorithm, which will make it do the best it can. According to the data available, if there is thought available to seal the envelope, it will be included in computing. If the thought is not available, it won't be naturally. But where are you the doer? You haven't conditioned, you haven't designed, you haven't grown the brain, you haven't even if there even is the brain, because in a direct experience, the brain is just an idea.
But we can see the processing, we can see the computation, we can see the constant recognition, looking around, knowing what everything is, recognizing sounds, directions, there is tons of data being processed moment to moment on autopilot. And there is a consciousness registering it, which leaves everything already. It doesn't even leave it unaltered, unmodified, unconnected because it doesn't have the capacity to modify or correct it. It just is. That's the is-ness. That's the natural state of just being, just is-ness. And I think I have seen Isabel for a second with the hand up. Wow. I can't say nothing now. Because it was such a great wow.
Yeah. And yes, what's the I forgot the name. Yes. Yes. Wow. Yes. I'm stumbling because, yes, you know, everything is on the automatic pilot. That's such a great tool for all. And to see there is no mediator for this here now. It's immediately. And then you can see all the things, the sleeping dream, the sleeping itself, the waking this. It's one thing only. And that is the awareness of that. And all the rest is, yeah, like everyone had the heartbreak. Now the consciousness break our hearts with the girlfriends. And that is that maybe the worst thing what we can immediately feel because it is such a power.
But like Kat all said, don't give it a name and go to the hurt. Let you break, let you cry, let you crush. And I can say it because I hear your story, but I will say for myself when it is happening that it's really a big one, but that is a huge opportunity for it for you to see it. And experience and express the tears and heart feeling and whatever. But that is really the big chance. So see, it's not for a human being, but for the love. And yeah. But what can I say more? Yes. Really. There is only now. Yeah, this like I also say so beautiful.
There is only here now. And there is all expectation. The thought can illusion making so-called future. But that's the thought. They create a so-called future. But there is no future. There is no becoming. There is no yeah. Go out of this here now. And then you can see all the senses already are open and the sound of this voice and the seeing of all this call us and speaking this language that is so immediately that there is. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, oh, oh, oh, you can say with no interventions. Is it? It is. Yeah. Now. And that's recognition that you can see, like you have one camera here in this room and the camera sees 360 degrees around and then there is no nothing that.
Seeing is not there. Then there is nothing. Then there is no seeing. There is. There is something, but not a thing. And that is that that's such a great relief to see. Yeah. Yeah. The seeing is immediately we cannot we cannot put it out. And yeah, that's a great gift to see that at that there is only the knowing. And the knowing is without language. We use language for two. Yeah. It's a knowing is so open and wild. And then they see a heartbreaker. We call it in language the pain in the heart. The loved one that crushes his heart. And it needs to express, but not for for for Iran.
And that's a great gift to see. There is no door. There is the pain. We call it pain, but there's a huge of energy. And to see that that's the experience in that moment, because I love it. And even started that because when you hear it from somebody else story, it's easy to reflect on it because it's all for us. Well, all of us was sometimes heartbreaking and that's the usual. But now I give the voice back to God because I'm stumbling. When I can speak in Dutch, I explode. But I must really looking for the right English. No, you're doing excellent. You're doing excellent.
Not only words, but also with this energetic component of it. You know, the love, the compassion and the clarity coming. You're right. The metaphor of seeing is ultimate. That is brilliant. In English language, we even say you see. And that means you understand or you get it. It's even the same word. And then look how spontaneous the scene is, how nobody does it. Equally spontaneous is the awareness of existence. Equally spontaneous is knowing that you are nothing needs to be done. It can't be. It doesn't have to be. Pointing back to that is always priceless is super precious. Yes. And hearing this sound, what you express now and I, we cannot put it out.
But yes, this is such a great tools. What Bob always gave us. Yeah. And also the consolation coming from the realization that not only you're not the doer, there is no little mini person there who can do it wrong. And who should be feeling bad about themselves, who should improve themselves, who should feel guilty, not only that is, I think Kimo is going to join us. Oh, yeah, there he is. Not only that's not true, but also the realization that you are being lived that moment to moment, not only the seeing is spontaneous, the heartbeat is spontaneous. The thinking. Is spontaneous. The responses to situations are spontaneous.
You can absolutely trust that this bio computer is programmed to compute the best possible outcome moment to moment, there's no need to hold your butthole and to be anal and controlling, there is no point to freak out. The things will go wrong. And what am I going to do? How am I? There's no point. In any of that narrative software to overrun on steroids and cause psychological suffering is simply a habit that is enough to see through and laugh away. Because even that is spontaneous, even that narrative software that says, oh, no, this is I, I've done it wrong, I've got it wrong. I should have said something else.
I should have done something else. Even that is just spontaneous. Yes. It's autopilot function. Yeah. You know, it is also, you know, it is like, wow, you cannot pinpoint awareness or consciousness nowhere, you cannot point it nowhere. It's where it starts, where it begins. You cannot grasp it. It's this is already here and you never not here, but not like Isabel or Kat, but the expression. And we call it Kat and maybe we give you tomorrow a new name, you know. And that's that's such a great seeing that there is no beginning. There is no end. You cannot grasp it. You cannot get out. You cannot whatever.
And same time you can say it's never not here. Here is always here. And there is no here and this from somebody or the autopilot. Yeah. You have to go with this body and this autopilot, how it speaks, what language, where it bonds or this girl or a boy. It's all a gift, a giving. And yeah, that's that's the beauty to see that it's a given from. Yeah. We don't know. And it's a gift. Now you can see here, taste, touch and smell because the vehicle is there. So suddenly the pure potentiality is translated into a dream. Wow. Wow. Yeah, it can be. And the responses of the body, the conditioning, the parents, the trauma, the bad things, the good things that all of that comes with the avatar comes with the character.
Yeah. Endless. Endless free entertainment. Yes. And, you know, and it's also so beautiful. Everybody has his quality qualities. Every human what you're coming through like you like, like cat or is a bear or whatever the name is. And that's that's the beauty. It's like, yeah, that's the gift. And to see also the innocence from all around. That they also doing like the. Yeah, that's that's that's like Yvonne can also see for her girlfriend that she's not a doer and say, yes, she is at the shift when you are 20 years old and a black hole. So but that is also life expression and this consciousness and awareness.
Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. And Jenny, would you like to unmute? Here we go. Hmm. Hey, I want to come back to. Leave it unordered and modified, uncorrected. And I've always loved that pointer. Because I feel it's a beautiful pointer to get the illusionary self of the book. Because in a sense, I feel that pointer speaks. To this illusionary self, it speaks to. The belief that we actually can alter, modify, change or correct anything. You know, Bob, he used to always say that until we were two and a half, you know, we didn't know that we were somebody or didn't think that we were somebody.
And then this illusionary persona, this vehicle, this identification with the vehicle starts to develop, you know, we begin to give this life force that works through us a name and we begin to give this life force traits and things we're good at, things we are bad at, things we like, things we dislike. And we be we. Begin to build this sand castle, you know, this sand castle on the beach. And then the pointer leave it unordered, unmodified, uncorrected comes. Just like being pointed out to remind us that it. We cannot change, alter or correct anything once because we're there is nobody to do it, but even before that.
It has already. We been it is it's already in the past. The moment has passed. It's impossible. We cannot change, alter anything. That has already gone. You know, and to break free from that illusion that there's anything that we can do about anything, you know, and that. The way things appear, the way things move, the way things happen, they just happen because they happen that way. And if they were not supposed to happen that way, then they would have happened in a different way, but now they didn't happen in a different way. So obviously this was the way it was supposed to happen. And whether this illusionary self likes it or not, tell yourself because there is no self.
It just is the way it is. You know, it's not. It's just is it. It was and is and will be the way it was and is and will be. And to me, that is the message and leave it unauthored, unmodified, uncorrected is just to shake this illusionary self and say, yeah, you go, you try, give it a go, give it a go, see if you can change the past. You be my guest. Give it a go. You know, see if you can change it. I mean, if you can come and tell me that so far, you know, we. Yeah, so that's just what I wanted to add to this soup and to this beautiful conversation.
Yeah, that's that's brilliant. And also that opens up another sort of an aspect, you know, because nearly everyone who finds themselves in non duality investigation. Yeah. Has already tried for maybe years, maybe decades, chanting, seva, meditation, prostrations, you name it. You know, all sorts of different austerities to get somewhere, to become someone, to achieve a peak state of consciousness or cosmic union, and generally this is a place where all those attempts and all those trying, you know, are kind of the point of exhaustion. Like, you know, sometimes there are people in their 70s or even 80s that say, look, I don't know why I'm learning so slowly.
How many decades more? I don't even have much more time to walk in circles in my own conceptual imagined world. It's time to just realize that there is no answer in the mind. There is no answer in thinking. There is no answer. And again, this Bob pointed out also the only way to seemingly fix the dream or fix the dream character or fix the past or alter or modify the future, prepare for the future. It's through thinking, it's through imagination. And that doesn't really get anyone anywhere. Imagination is absolutely wonderful tool of expression. If you are an artist or writer or whatever. It's a tool of expression, but it also runs on autopilot.
There's no doer behind it. You don't know what's your next thought is going to be. Yeah. The funny thing is that we can try and we can do as much as we want. But another thing we cannot change the past and we cannot get out of the now. It's like we cannot. We cannot run away, get out of the now. So it will always be now anyhow. So whatever we prepare for the future, whatever we try to achieve for the future, it is impossible because it will never arrive. It will never arrive. I mean, it will. It's just now always, you know, it's just now always.
So, you know, that's so and that's kind in a sense. That should be a really great sigh of relief to realize that there's just now. Because right now, at least this has been my experience that regardless of what has been going on in the dream, I've always been able to stand it or enjoy it or whatever shit. If it has been right now. The trouble has just started when I've been jumping ahead into the future, thinking, oh, what if when that oh, then that will happen or if that had not been. If I go either backwards or forward, then I get into deep shit. But if I realize that it's just now here and now, I mean, it's all good.
Like Bob said, what's wrong with right now? We don't think about it. Absolutely. Yeah, no space for the mind in this present moment now and no mind, no problem. And we have Hank. Would you like to unmute Hank? Yes. Can you hear me? Yes. Hey. Yes. OK, I have this. Yeah, this is an alter, you know, I like some. It's a few lines that I had for my teacher who passed away. Yeah. And then 2019 and it goes like this. My English is not so good, but I try to do it. I just started reading. Do not alter. Do not alter. Do not alter this mind of yours.
Do not grasp. Do not grasp. Do not grasp at this mind of yours. After and after. And you will stir up the cloudy depths of the mind and the mind that is altered. Obscures its own true nature. This is a quote from Longchampa. He was a famous teacher long time ago. This is what I tried to associate the unaltered with that. And I think, you know, and also is in fact like the yeah, the present, you know, like, yeah, now what's wrong with right now? Then this is this is the essence. I think this is a gift. It gives me. How as soon as you start moving in the past or in the future or whatever, then you are not.
Yeah. You are not altered anymore. At the same time, I feel confused sometimes and altered and don't do anything that is also not correct. I think because there is a program is running. And yeah, the body mind is has to. Has to follow the. The program. That's, you know. But yeah, we are we are not. Yeah, we are connected with something much bigger than that. We are not that body mind, you know, so. Yeah, that's my. What I associate with it. And yeah, for you, Yvonne, I feel yeah, I feel also a little bit maybe your pain. Because it's very hard when somebody is suicidal.
You have a good friend for more than 20 years and you have this kind of. You know, this is this is not so easy for you. But you cannot do anything about it. Yeah. If you commit suicide or whatever. We all we hope not. But it's not. Yeah, we cannot prevent anything. It goes with the program that's running and she's also beyond that program. So, yeah, that's what I wanted to. Say like this, OK, thank you very much. Mm hmm. Yeah. Thank you, Hank. Yeah. Beautiful. That is. And funny enough, you know, in the synchronicities, we try not to not to bring too many of our favorites in regards to quoting teachers and other speakers and everyone.
But actually today, this long Champa guy was mentioned as well on my little Mandala Wow. Because Bob, actually, the two ladies that were there, I mean, there was two ladies that were inspired by Bob to actually read the greatest treasury trove or whatever. I don't I don't know. I can't really when my seeking stopped, I couldn't really look into those things at some point. Maybe I'll check them out. But but generally, Bob had the affinity which he developed decades after the truth was revealed to him to those particular scriptures, the old ancient scriptures of this long, long. And by guy and some doctrine teachings. So it's quite possible that the vocabulary that you just quoted, that Bob incorporated to the spiel as a pointer, were inspired by this particular books and this particular teachers, as he said, there is nothing that has not been said before.
He's not the author. He doesn't claim. He doesn't claim copyright. He doesn't claim any ownership of any of the pointers. He's just describing the natural state. And so is every one of us. So that's that's that. Dino, would you like to. I'm unmuted. Yeah, thanks. Like I'm just noticing a couple of things, a couple of points like you're talking about, like this, this conditioning and this is this biocomputer. And, you know, it's a it is it is in constant upgrade update from everything. When I say everything, I mean everything, everything in in in the universe, everything that has ever happened is updating the system. And, you know, Hank, you just mentioned like the body mind follows the program.
The body mind is the program, you know, and and the program has been updated. And but don't don't think it's like some story of of like which involves the past and the future and like the updating, it's always like and the word now has been, you know, used to say like absolute immediacy. This this now that we're talking about, this presentness is where the whole show has ever been, can ever be, has ever can ever can ever be the Big Bang, the the time that you you know, you took your first step, the time that you spoke your first word, like it was always it was always now it was always immediate and and the whole like the programing, you know, like this, this programing and updating of our sort of conditioning, you know, and the dependence on like the genetics and and all the environment and the uniqueness of every expression in every moment is is there is no.
The thing is, there is no one there's no one that ever has ever done it. And it's the whole show is running itself. There's no one is running it. It's just and it and it is only running now. It is only actually happening right now. So like the host, all stories are appearing now. And and there is nothing outside of that now. There's nothing outside of that, that immediacy that that has ever exist. And when when you look at your own lives and your own story and your own anything, it's always it's always now and and it was just just writing down now that the precious treasury of the basic space of phenomena.
Yeah, that's that's the one I remember actually reading passages from that book to Bob sometimes just because it was a it was a nice thing to do, you know, and we would have little. Little just just sit back and yeah, it was really nice. There was some other stuff I wanted to say, but I've forgotten now. So back to you. I stayed only the title is enough, says Yvonne. And absolutely. And Bob often said that to the books are often summarized in the title. Steven, you on. It was just the comment that fits in with what Dean said when you said. And we were talking about.
Thanks, saying and reading stuff and you said, when my seeking stopped, you weren't particularly interested in looking any more of that stuff up. And that reminded me a lot of. When there's a view of self, there is, however subtle, there's this idea that you're going to get a call, it's anyway, whatever. There's this idea that we're going to get better, perfect ourselves. And it reminded me of when I was reading stuff years ago. And I was reading about the there's a there's a meditation called the loving kindness meditation, which can clearly does work to it practice well. But what was found in the Buddhist time that when people understood that when this was understood by whoever it was.
They were less inclined to practice this, you know, what you know, it's like they thought, what's the point? And and so even though, even though the mind is still conditioned because the the the advice would be still for some of them who had a bit of an abrasive character, who would upset some of the other monks and things like that, they were advised to practice this loving kindness, but they just less inclined to be bothered because, you know. It. Presumably. There was a complete recognition that there was nobody there to to do anything. And even though it might be beneficial to the community to learn this stuff or condition the mind in a particular direction, they they managed that way all right for however many years that mind and body had and so why bother because it wasn't that important to them.
And I just thought that seemed to fit in very well. This is this idea that when when there's a view of self, there's always this idea of some sort of becoming. I'm getting something some some. I'm going to be slightly better. I'm not going to have these funny thoughts in the morning anymore. And all this sort of thing. And clearly that's not the case. So I just whatever all people have been saying, it's very helpful. Thank you. And that's such a good point, Stephen, because it's a great point and worthy of highlighting because, you know, everything the society and the any sort of a tribal.
Setting is a self-organizing environment where naturally certain rules emerge. They naturally emerge like they emerge in the in a beehive or or other self-organizing structures so that loving kindness or the new non mirrors that make people value higher the kindness and altruism make the survival machine naturally drawn towards making it in the world and making it in the world. During the war, maybe just helping your others like the the the human search for meaning people who survive Holocaust. If they survive the Holocaust but preserve their dignity and help few other people along the way and focus the attention of being helped, they are more kind of a reservoir of that pure life essence appearing as love, so they are more generally happy.
So they more generally they survival chances are higher without even being or being told what to do or what not to do. And in the same way, people who may experience itself and believe themselves superior, people who often go to politics, who often go to become dictators or generals in the army, who don't have a blink of an eye by giving an order to exterminate a nation that we call psychopaths. They don't have those particular traits in behavior. They also perfect themselves in being less flawless. And this is the same mechanism again, without any doership that you can see in nature as the eagle flies off the nest.
And every time it flies, it flies slightly better or the seagull gliding on the winds, moving faster, better, higher, lower, gaining skills, expanding skills naturally, even without the idea that I have to strive to fly better. I have to strive to be better hunter. I have to strive to be more beautiful peacock so I have the chance to pass on genes. Those things, striving to make it in the world, to survive and thrive is already an algorithm installed in the bio computer. So in some cases, psychopathic traits like an extreme trauma, withdrawal of the, or even scrapping up the network of compassion to survive the extreme abuse is the survival mechanism, is the strategy.
In another case, putting it in front, being a helper, being a savior, being someone who inspires with loving and compassion is the algorithm that, strengthens the sense of survival. Both of them equally autopilot. What is conscious around it is the awareness, is the noticing of it. And then of course, they are concepts. And I love when Bob was introducing that concept of, you know, when you are generally happy and at ease and there is nothing wrong, you don't necessarily find it, you know, it's a waste of energy to cause harm. You're not drawn to cause harm if you are happy and fulfilled. Most of the harm that has been caused was for any or some sort of self gratification.
If I am a separate entity, I need to gratify myself from taking from someone else, from stealing, from hurting someone else. This is self gratification. If I know I'm not that person, I'm free from desires, I'm free from gratifying myself. I'm in the old that, oh, wow, what a dream, amazing. Then my tendency to go and look for someone to inflict pain on them will naturally be down because there is no survival advantage from such behaviour. So the autopilot will not really value such behaviour. But how would that be in a case of someone, like a psychopath who's got incredibly high processing power and nothing to do with it and is bored as fuck and it finds it entertaining to learn to manipulate people, to learn to control people and it doesn't experience compassion.
The computer that is broken, the AI computer or whatever it is, do we know anything about it? No. Do we have to? No. Our job is to be and that job is already fulfilled moment to moment. It's never not here. Being, not doing, being. Doing happens. Being inspired to learn French cooking or skating or dancing or meditating, being inspired or inspiring others to take the watercolour classes or whatever, that all happens. Not automatically, spontaneously, naturally. Going for the therapy. Oh yeah, I find myself on my way to this therapy or that therapy. That also happens. There are people who say, no, you must do it, otherwise you're bypassing.
You must, you must. Well, there is no doer here. Everything happens. Breathing happens. Learning French cooking happens. Learning tango happens. Fighting with your spouse happens. Apologising happens. Guilt, shame, remorse, they're all appearances. Everything just happens. Because you are. Because you are. The dream happens. Because there is a basic screen of conscious awareness. They are behaviours. They are dramas. They are traumas. There is thinking about the past, thinking about the future, imagining. There is dreaming at night. There is daydreaming. All of that because you are. Before the Abraham was, I am. I am. Therefore, the past and the Abraham and the Bible and the Jesus and everything I want to imagine, it exists.
When I'm dead, I can't. I can't. They are not. So I don't know what I am. I don't know who I am. I know that I am. And that I am is a great mantra. Mahavakya. That I am. And so do you. You know that you are. You may have tons of concepts. Oh yeah, but I'm not there yet. But I have to become. But my state is not as pleasant. I would like to be more happy, more fulfilled, less angry. That's another common misconception. Great enlightenment means that you'll never have a chocolate in your life. Because why would you desire sweet if you are already in the persistent nirvana ecstasy?
Well, if there is no you, there is no one to be in persistent nirvana. There is no one to have or not to have chocolate. You are the basic screen, the pure existence. And the avatar, the body, the body will require food as much as it required food yesterday. And water. And will require to release it at the end of the day. And it will require to go through every motion that life brings. And respond to every situation that arises. And it will respond according to the way the environment, the same environment has conditioned this body to respond. Because you can't draw the boundary. You can't have thought if that thought doesn't relate to the environment.
It is inseparable. Environment, the body, the mind, all the dream, all the content, including the eyes that are looking. And everything that is seen arises together in consciousness as one seamless, inseparable appearance. And I see Dino, you want to read the comments because I don't know. Sure, yeah. Yvonne says it's one show, never anything wrong with anything. And then she says, or chocolate. And then Jenny says, and chocolate. I guess. Yeah, I think you wrapped it up really well, Kat. And, you know, one thing that you were saying earlier, talking about the autopilot. And just very quickly, like, wow. Like the thoughts that are appearing are on autopilot.
The conditioning is on autopilot. The sun, like the planets revolving around the sun, are all on autopilot. The grass that's growing, the heart that's beating. And what is this autopilot? This is what you could call the absolute. This is all God or whatever you want to call it. The intelligence energy is the actual autopilot running the show, moving the planets, moving, creating the heartbeat, creating these words. And, you know, this autopilotness, this God, this intelligence energy is nothing other than now, than this absolute immediacy. And it's a great thing. And it's a great thing. And it's a great thing. And it's an absolute immediacy and it can never get out of it, no matter what you say about it.
And I have actually just quickly. I have a comment on Facebook. I don't know if you have Facebook open and it's kind of we're running out of time. But I'll just quickly. Holly says in prior talk, you equated the body with a car. The difficulty with this analogy is that I never get out of the body and view it as a distance. as a distance, as I do a car, is there another way of looking at it? Yes, Holly, thank you. You're right, this is a metaphor and every metaphor has the limitation. Bob used to equate the body, used to say it like this is like a mask, the mask of personality.
You also can't get out of the personality and yet you know that it is constantly changing. Like car is a limited metaphor, just as it is the costume metaphor. Yes, without the body there is no dream, but you can say or you can see how when you go to sleep at night and you don't leave your body, you basically disengage from that body and the body is lying down flat on bed and the eyes are closed and the mouth are shut. The body isn't speaking, the body isn't seeing. And yet in your dream you may be eating chocolate cake, you may be having a heated discussion with someone or make love or fly.
You have different body. Which body is right? Which one are you? Are you the body lying on bed? No, you don't even know it exists in the dream. Are you the body flying? No, that body doesn't even exist, it's made up. So this is one of the metaphors to just see that you have as many, the body is just a momentary vehicle, vessel like an instrument through which the life essence and through which and as which the life essence is expressing itself. But you are the life essence. You know, when you see the body of a dead person or even dead animal, you know life is gone from that body.
So if you had, if you happen to see, you know, anyone or have anyone in your family departed and you see the corpse, you know they are not there. What's not there? You know, the life, the animating life isn't there. And the body, what do we do with the body? We get rid of it. It starts thinking, it starts decomposing. We burn it or we bury it under the ground because it doesn't have any value. Corpse has no value. We know intrinsically, instinctively that it is only valuable and it's only precious when the life essence is animating it, when it is alive. So from there you understand that life is just a momentary thing.
The body is just like a vessel, like a radio receiver and transmitter. And the life is what makes it speak and see and receive. It's just one of the metaphors. I'm sorry that it's so late right now. We can start exploring it from the next week. And if you feel so inspired, click on the link on SailorBobAdamson.com and join us in the room. Thank you everyone. Goodbye, Catalina. Goodbye. Bye bye.
